The dishes which comprise our local cuisine are simple and genuine, all prepared using seasonal fruit and vegetables and with all-natural local ingredients supplied by carefully-selected suppliers who guarantee the excellence of their products.

This adventure will keep us busy for the whole of October. It is sure to be an exhilarating experience, a challenge that we will face with enormous enthusiasm in the knowledge that we are bringing our superlative local products to the attention of the world.
A family tradition
For more than two decades, Elena Di Ronco and Enzo Della Pietra have served their guests at the Osteria da Alvise, blending their love for the land and the age-old traditions of the Carnia region with a truly warm, family atmosphere.
The Osteria was established in 1994 as a simple inn, and later – in 2000 – was extended to form a restaurant with a number elegant bedrooms offering accommodation to visitors. Guests are able to experience the real traditions of the Carnia region – superb hospitality and hard work.
